    They might require disclosure of the donors, but they would never make these into criminal cases. The IRS is about collecting money and they try hard to resolve disputes with civil remedies. There is no way they would treat these 501 cases as criminal.

      Does it please you that many of these criminal, fraudulent money-launderers are anonymously dispensing the Koch brothers' dark money all over the fucking country with impunity... in clear violation of both the 501(c)(4) code and the 'loosened' regulation?

      •  SA - Congress has passed several conflicting (0+ / 0-)

        laws regarding several of the 501 class non-profits. For decades the IRS has asked Congress to pass definitive legislation to clarify these conflicts, but to date Congress has been unwilling or unable to do so. The IRS went through a period seeking public comment on various 501 rules as they plan to issue new guidelines. Here is a good diary on the issue:
