are not crazy enough to elect him again, are they?

I know there are people who regularly vote against their own interests, but someone who is kissing away that many jobs?

How do you spin that into something good for Ohio?

Good luck to FitzGerald, let's hope the Kochs & company are wasting a boatload of money.

    •  I hope not. Ohio was deeply in recession (3+ / 0-)

in 2010, and Kasich managed to have enough cash to spend on negative ads (also Koch money) to blame Governor Strickland for the recession and the jobs lost.

The best way to go after Kasich who has cut taxes at the state level and force school districts and municipalities to increase their own taxes to make up for lost stat support, the first question for Kasich and his radical republican legislature is "You cut taxes, where are the damn jobs?".  Tinkle down economics don't work to make jobs, and we should hammer that home.

Republicans are like alligators. All mouth and no ears.

I come from/live in a rural, red area of Ohio.  These people have been fed a line from the 50's to now by the Republicans/Birchers.  They watched jobs bleed from manufacturing and still vote Republican.  The employees at the Ford plant jeered UAW people marching at the Ford plant protesting moving parts of the factory to Brazil, I believe (back in the 80's).  A Democrat cannot win unless they run as an independent, period.  And even then, it's not easy.  My county has 17% college educated people.  Not because people in this area don't go to college, but they move away because there are no full-time jobs except in health care that pay over $10.00 an hour. Why would you stay?  I only moved back because of family.

The wing-nut churches have moved in by the handful.  They may not have many members per church, but there are a lot of them.

      They are absolutely crazy enough.
