  •  GOP First Rule: Admit Nothing (9+ / 0-)

Because quite simply, they have neither shame nor decency - and it's always someone else's fault. Classic sociopathic leader traits in authoritarian groups.

And their followers demand it, because they want 'strong' leaders in a world they see as them versus everyone else.

"No special skill, no standard attitude, no technology, and no organization - no matter how valuable - can safely replace thought itself."

    •  HRC would do well to adopt the same strategy, (0+ / 0-)

though.  Toughness with regard to questioning; even tougher than she already is.  Just say to people, when they dredge up all the old Clinton-era stuff, "get over it."  Or when they try to do what Terry Gross did on NPR, making her seem hypocritical, HRC should just say "get over it.  This is where I am now.  Move on."

That's one more thing to add to my long list of small problems. --my son, age 10
