coming, or look for new, improved ways to see it coming.

But on a personal level, I enjoyed all the pomp and circumstance of the Surprise Defeat. I'm still chuckling about it. Even though earlier election day, I had read a diary here at dkos about how there was a chance Brat might win. The pure joy of Cantor's defeat will linger with me forever and ever.  I like surprises like that.

I thoroughly enjoyed the surprise defeat, absolutely reveled in it! I don't usually like surprises much but this one was glorious! I actually appreciated not knowing beforehand that this might happen and appreciated most of all that Cantor himself didn't realize that this was on the cards!

in 2006 due to having moved too close to election day: didn't want to risk voting in my old district b/c had already changed address officially, was with great delight I learned Nancy Pelosi was now Speaker of the House.

It would be nice to see her back in that role, but I don't think 2014 will do it.

This time around, I'd just settle for dumping our odious governor, Corbett (ptui).
