    •  Sorry for the bad link. (0+ / 0-)

Got my links crossed for moment.

But it is out of context. The diarist is trying to make Iraq War drama out of a single essay, in which Greenwald talked about protesters in Argentina, who were protesting Bush's visit and his trade policies. Greenwald did not defend the invasion.

Greenwald relentlessly hounded the Bush administration in most of his other pieces and in his interviews. Do you honestly believe that a single, nine-year-old article, dug up by a brand new poster, is about something other than trolling?

Stephen Colbert does superb satire. Pity those offended by it.

      •  no it's not (0+ / 0-)

9 years ago Greenwald was more than willing to bash socialist and the far left while being a good right wing libertarian. I find it interesting that now when it suits him (Greenwald) that has changed.

And relentlessly hounded? Don't make me laugh. Greenwald was for the war and then against it much like how his support for Bush and distaste of Anti Captalism seems to change depending on how the wind blows.

Now I'm sure those that are more interested in apologizing for Greenwald than in facts or anything else will try to sweep this under the rug just like they do with his support of the war and subsequent denials about that. It is hilarious to me though as Greenwald attempts to hide his cowardly and cynical attempts to play to the winds the more he is shown to be what he is.
