  •  Was listening to MSNBC (5+ / 0-)

Said that every contact w/him ends with him spouting conspiracy theories that is why they are sending Kerry in for a face to face.

The implication was that Malaki won't allow for a broader gov because of his belief in those theories.

      What a shit show.

undemocratic. It is based on the people electing slates or parties that will then fill all govt positions from the slate.

Meanwhile, nothing Maliki or any other head of government anywhere except in extremely stable highly developed countries can suspect or think of or worry about can possibly be a conspiracy theory, because the US has proven time and again that it is fully capable of anything and everything, the overthrow of Mossadegh and the imposition of the Shah, the destabilization of Cambodia, Pinochet, Guatemala, etc., etc. The wildest ravings about what mischief the US might be up to can never amount to CT, because we have no doubt done it, whatever it may be, to somebody.

That, in its essence, is fascism--ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. -- Franklin D. Roosevelt --
