    I don't have conditions where eating wrong will kill me quick, but I'll get miserable quick.

    Fructose gives me migraines. That would be fruit sugar. So named because it's in.... all that good, yummy fruit that one is supposed to eat. Three large strawberries is enough to do it. Or a good swallow of orange juice. (sigh) Honey is pure fructose.

    I also have IBS. Most of the nice dark green leafy things are IBS triggers for me. So are every bean I've tried. I'm not willing to deal with the gas and diarrhea and excruciating pain to check off "five a day". My quality of life is MUCH better if I leave that stuff alone.

    Oh, and if I eat a lot of tomatoes, potatoes, or new world peppers (and too hot peppers will trigger IBS, by the way), I have a lot more inflammation and stiffness and fibromyalgia symptoms.

    I eat a lot of onions and garlic not only because I like them but because I just don't have a lot left. (sigh)

    Help me get my utilities on! I can't eat this elephant by myself.
