  •  Why do you think Randa ruled as he did? (8+ / 0-)

When the Appeals Court overturns it, then Walker's team goes to SCOTUS and they rule it's all hunky-dory.

    •  Randa is a Bush-appointed ConservaClown. (5+ / 0-)

His rulings have repeatedly been overturned in the 7th Circuit, which is now considering this case.  Just a couple examples:

Randa ruled that the 1994 Freedom of Access to Clinics Entrances Act was unconstitutional in banning "nonviolent, physical obstruction of reproductive health services clinics." Randa ruled that Congress could not use its constitutional authority under the Commerce Clause to regulate abortion protests.  The 7th Circuit reversed.

Randa ruled that Wisconsin's regulation of gasoline sales, requiring a minimum markup to prevent unfair practices, was a federal antitrust law violation.  In an attempt to avoid further review of this idiocy, Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced that he would not appeal the decision.  However, the Wisconsin Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association moved to intervene post-judgment and to appeal Randa's ruling, and the 7th Circuit overruled.

There are  others.  In the present case, it would seem to be beyond reasonable debate that Wisconsin courts have to be the judge of how Wisconsin statutes are interpreted and applied, not federal clowns masquerading as judges.
