Stopped here on the drive home tonight.

      How was Art, Tim?

More Sweeties speed.  He was accompanied by a acoustic guitarist Tab Leland, who was pretty good.   He did the Boxer, Scarborough Fair, Cathy, Bridge Over Troubled Water, a Jobim song, and a few from his solo albums.  He also read a bunch of poems that are about to be published, told a bunch of stories and had the house lights turned up and took questions from the audience.

The coolest part was when he explained and then did the harmony verse for Scarborough Fair.  The part most people don't release is there.

On the side of a hill in the deep forest green.
Tracing of sparrow on snow-crested brown.
Blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain
Sleeps unaware of the clarion call.

On the side of a hill a sprinkling of leaves.
Washes the grave with silvery tears.
A soldier cleans and polishes a gun.
Sleeps unaware of the clarion call.

War bellows blazing in scarlet battalions.
General order their soldiers to kill.
And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten.

Markets like that are far and few between down here.  I miss the Italian, Polish and German markets.  Sweetie and I were Strip District regulars.  Every Saturday morning!
