  •  'Hispandering' sounds like a great new word. (7+ / 0-)

    Except I'd define it differently:

    (verb)
Hispandering: the Republican practice of encouraging and supporting misogyny and sexism among conservative males. Also see Mansplaining.

In their meeting did someone say, "He's pandering". Another joins in and says, "Yeah he's Hispandering.  Get it.  Because the people are Hispanics."  Then they both giggle and because they don't know how offensive they are especially when talking about race issues use the word dreaming that they have created a new word for the dictionary.  I mean hey if Beyonce can come up with Bootylicious, right?  Of course what they don't realize is that it's just another derivative to underscore that pandering is for "white" people and hispandering is for Mexicans (because all Spanish speaking people in America are mexicans - don't cha know).

It's funny because these are the same people who are so upset about hyphenated Americans yet they are the ones who insist on categorizing various interactions with people based on the amount of melanin in one's skin.  It's mindnumbing.
