purely informational. But they came along with dozens of other "purely informational" spam, mostly from addresses ending in .eu, which I have had to block.

I've removed my HR, but I'm still not convinced, and still expect to see more of this showing up here either from this diarist or other Day One posters.

    Thanks for the reply, Susan.

Inside of me are two dogs. One is mean and evil. The other is gentle and good. The two dogs fight all the time. Which dog wins? The one I feed the most.

I followed the link to the Corporate Action Network, I found that the Team consists of progressive activists, some former Dean campaigners, members of Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Unions.

I think I am willing to give this diarist the benefit of the doubt since this is where her link sends us:

Corporate Action Network, a project of the Action Network Fund, was founded to address the imbalance of power between corporations and people. Using a networked approach and the Action Network’s newly developed toolset, Corporate Action Network is building campaigns to end corporate abuse that are more effective and powerful than have ever been possible. Connected through the network, campaigns can then grow into a movement—and for the first time truly be able to address the imbalance of power between corporate actors and the rest of us.

a good intro to what it even is. I had to google it. Bakeneko's comment taught me more than the diary did. I would agree that the way it is presented smells a little spammy. Thanks for the comments bakeneko and susan.

Hopefully the diarist will stick around to chat with us.
