      still relevant today.

      "Love Me, I'm a Liberal" is also as amazing and as relevant  as ever, though it's doesn't carry quite the emotional punch as this song does.

      •  Well "Love Me I'm a Liberal" is about a type of (0+ / 0-)

        post war Liberalism that hardly exists any more. The kind of Liberalism that was cowed by the orchestrated anti-Communist hysteria of the early 50's.

        Nothing experienced since the collapse of the Soviet Union really come close to matching the political atmosphere of that period. Not even the so-called war on terror.

        Nothing human is alien to me.
