    and we have discussed boycotting of local businesses as a political tool and discarded it.  It would deepen the political divide, which no one wants.  It might put businesses out of business that we really need.  And because the community is small enough, it would pit neighbor against neighbor.

    I did privately complain to one merchant that I didn't want to shop to the sound of Rush Limbaugh, and never heard the radio tuned to his show again.
