    Target didn't ban guns they just asked customers please don't bring guns into the store. They don't say what they will do if they still do it.

      Would I prefer they be more absolute? Sure. Is it likely that they had a bunch of lawyers, marketing and PR people advise them on how to word it? Yep.  

      But they've  made it clear that they do not welcome them and if people continue to show up with them it becomes a matter for security and local police.

      We view "The Handmaid's Tale" as cautionary. The GOP views it as an instruction book.

        I agree with you, this statement is better than nothing. But it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
