the technology. After all, the are Republicans. They probably think a conference call is a series of tubes.

If Reagan was the answer, it must have been a very silly question.

This isn't new tech. Conf calls have been around for a long, long time. And the ability to mute all callers has been around as long as there has been conf calls.

So if they didn't get that, and/or weren't willing to pay for it, they're even more out of touch with today's world than I thought.

Though I really can't buy that one. This is tech they understand, and have used, for years.

I think it was much more of 'let them play right into our hands. They'll act like the crazies they are, and it only makes our guy look better'

      •  That could very well be, (0+ / 0-)

but it makes Republicans look bad overall. Of course, anytime teabaggers start acting up, it makes all Republicans look bad. Like it or not, they are joined at the hip.

As far as their understanding of technology, I sometimes wonder if they even understand how audio and video recordings work, since they seem to have no problem contradicting earlier taped statements as if they never made them.

Republicans have NOT "looked bad overall".

After all, they handed the Party over to the furthest out Right-wingnuts decades ago, when they took in Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, and that ilk to begin with.  And, it's been nothing but further Right-wingnuttery ever since.

In simple point of fact, the Republicans ARE, now, nothing more than "Tea Party" - "gone viral" as the young people have it currently.

And just who was it who did that joining?  Oh, right.  The Republicans.  They brought the TP on board thinking they could control them.
          Wrong.

It couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of people.
