  •  maybe I'm naive...but I thought Kasoru (4+ / 1-)

    was moving beyond this crap.

no surprise with the other two...in another diary Anrgryallen was explaining how he got around the law by modifying his pistol...turning it into an illegal assault rifle...so proud he could set his 'baby' on the seat next to him as he drives around...I hope he gets his 'baby' taken away.

I was going to share some links with real info...but saw you beat me to it...there are some serious people out there trying to reduce gun injuries and deaths.

    peace.

That's a LIE. I didn't do ANYTHING ILLEGAL. what I purchased was legally classified as a pistol. I added a LEGAL brace, approved by the BATFE.

      •  the letter of the law...vs. intent. (3+ / 0-)

people can read for themselves...you sure seemed proud to get around those silly rules and regulations.

and just like in that thread...your reading skills are lacking...I never said what you did was 'illegal'...I said...

...got around the law by modifying his pistol...
oh noes..!!..I've been hit...hope you use better judgement before you pull the trigger on your 'baby.'

He's proud of abusing loopholes, yes, violating the spirit of the law. Some of us collect stamps, this is what interests them.

    •  Allen's all up and angry in it this morning (3+ / 0-)

The HR is pitiable, in a rational world.

I hope he involves the admins, again. They can't make him remove it but his silly comments can be left hanging like the last time he tried to wrongly HR.

      •  I imagine they are still laughing... (3+ / 0-)

from his last 'complaint'...I know I am.

Glenn's post was a complete lie. In fact, the illegal conversion he's talking about is a felony, punishable by 10 years. Running afoul of NFA laws regarding sbr's is very serious. Verifiably false accusations such as his should be bannable.

        •  You're a shameless liar. (4+ / 0-)

What Glen is saying, quite correctly, is that you bragged about taking advantage of a legal loophole to turn your pistol into something that's functionally equivalent to a class of banned weapons. He has explained this point very clearly several times so your effort to pretend that you don't understand it rings hollow.

Verifiably false accusations such as his should be bannable.
The day the admins start banning people like Glen for standing up to gun trolls is the day Markos sells the site to the NRA.
        •  let's analyze... (3+ / 0-)
I did this very thing and bought an AR pistol (0+ / 0-)
I bought my AR pistol in 300 blk (30 cal). Sig sauer just created an "arm brace" that let's handicapped shooter fire one handed.  But it looks like a stock and can be shouldered like a stock. http://cdn2.armslist.com/....

The BATFE gave its approval. So yes, it essentially allows me to have an SBR without the tax stamp. But more than that, because I have a carry permit and this is officially a pistol, I can carry it on my person or more importantly, in my car.  A rifle would need to be unloaded and locked in a case in the trunk.  This can sit on the seat with me.  Also, an SBR can not cross state lines without express permission, each and every time, from the ATF. I can take this with me to the 21 states that honor my permit.

          [SBR = short barrel rifle]

your words...you typed them...previewed and posted...you can eat them.

one of the most disgusting part of your comment...is using something designed for a handicap user...so you can skirt the laws...sick on many levels.

          and yes...please...pretty please...report me.

You said, "turning it into an illegal assault weapon". First, the gun couldn't do this on its own, so you're saying that I did this "illegal" act.  In my previous post about the brace and its functionality, I also told you that the BATFE had given its approval. Not the approval to be used by the handi-capped, but to be "shouldered" as a rifle. Since no one is really interested in committing this felony, the BATFE was asked specifically if using the weapon with the brace would turn this pistol into an illegal SBR.  They could've said yes.  Instead, they issued this open letter, which is enclosed with the brace for its purchasers.  http://sigsauer.com/...

So, I did nothing illegal or morally wrong, either, according to those that make those legal decisions.

using something designed for a handicap user to get around the rules...and your link does not help your case...

We find that the device is not designed or intended to fire a weapon from the shoulder.

              yet you claim...

But it looks like a stock and can be shouldered like a stock.
...the only person at risk of getting banned from the site is the person posting tips on how to skirt the NFA, 26 U.S.C § 5845(a) regulations...I think I might run this by an admin...along with with bogus your HR.

              thanks for the link..!!
