    The remark came out of left field at the end of the interview.  And the interview did give equal space to both he and his wife; and as she is the writer, gave her the first response to each question.  Perhaps the interviewer should have followed up on the "feminist" remark instead of ending the interview on it.  Then again, perhaps the interviewer didn't anticipate how people would react to the off-hand comment either.
