I get the point, very clearly.

The point I was trying to make, half tongue in cheek, is there are a huge number of Americans, mostly men, who don't even really know about this ruling, because other things occupy their minds, and they pay little enough attention to politics, let alone the finer points.

I was suggesting, that even rumours of a "boycott", would not only get their attention, concern and focus in a way that no other campaign tactic would,

But carefully crafted, would be front page news with not only all the implications front and center( plus sex! Sex sells! Lead with sex, it even beats violence !), but the hippocracy of the ruling.

A bit snark, a bit bad humour,  ( issue in hand, closely held), but also serious.

A successful,(20% of women, or less), No sex until SCOTUS campaign would probably be the shortest , successful political campaign in US History.

Think of all the single guys that would suddenly be very concerned.

I really can't see this as a serious suggestion and I realize you've said it was, at least partly, in jest. I do agree that playing up the more salacious aspects could get some needed publicity, but I think more as a TDS segment. Imagine a million hits on YouTube from people sharing the video of the "report".

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to make light of the issue. Yes, I'm male, but I'm also a father of daughters. And I'm EFFing pissed that the SCOTUS (OK, the 5 Catholic men dictating their morality, as good an example as any, as to why I'm no longer Catholic or religious, but I digress) is willing to allow my/your employer to impose their religion on me/you. But raising the profile of the issue is important and comedy can often make important points while broadening the audience. That's what I think the point you're trying to make is.

A frustrated liberal/progressive living in a red district. I feel like a fish out of water.
