FACT that all teachers are not great or even good.  Suggests you need to read the post again, so here it is.

I've ever heard tell parents to "turn off your television," I may think they have begun to see the light.

Who is that politician?  Barack Obama.  I have heard him several times give that advice.  He, and no other.

TV kills attention span, snuffs imagination, and leaves many children who watches a lot of TV in need of a GREAT teacher to help recover his or her deficit.  And despite what we hear here, not all teachers are GREAT, or even good.

It is ridiculous to pretend that firing teachers based on student test scores, starting charter schools, giving out vouchers or implementing merit pay will overcome the challenges facing a child living in poverty. -Jersey Jazzman

    •  And you're still wrong. Most ARE good. (0+ / 0-)

A few are not so good and a few are exceptional.
