    wader, jaf49, glitterlust the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on this. They will rule 6-3 most likely. I can't WAIT for the dissenting opinions from Scalia, Alito, and Thomas. Well... maybe not Clarence. He's too stupid to have an opinion at all.

    Or they will take the coward's way out and simply turn it away without comment and wait for all fifty states to enter the 20th Century much less the 21st.

      In his DISSENT of Lawrence v Texas, he said said that if morality can't be used to restrict certain kinds of sexual behavior, how could you restrict same gender couples from civil marriage?
      Now, the conventional wisdom is that he INTENDED that to be a "wake-up call" for an amendment to the Constitutiona to prohibit this, but that ship has sailed.
