Then you brought up the couple of people who envisaged race as a factor... which the rest of the community debunked pretty quickly (to give an indication of scale, that is, that I remember, to wrong posts to your 60 or so)...

...and that that pictures the girl sent weren't naked... which requires FAR more assumptions on your part to hold true so as you're not wrong about that, than the one required for the rest not to be wrong (and, further, you said "you've been wrong too", when, rather, that's a point still in dispute... but not very much of one (see: assumptions required))... that is:

    1) the boy would need to be being charged for possession OF THE NAKED VID OF HIMSELF

    2) the boys attorney would have to be asking why the girl isn't being prosecuted for possessing the pictures THAT HIS CLIENT SENT HER.

Do you even BEGIN to understand how RIDICULOUS those assumptions are? And that proceeding the conversation by stipulating to them is a fools errand and, yeah, it's probably best to go with she sent him naked pictures given the information at hand?

But even if we shouldn't do that... saying we're "wrong" for coming to that conclusion as of now... nonpology held in stark relief... the site would be excoriating a republican for "apologizing" in the same manner.

    •  This discussion has been very interesting and I (3+ / 0-)

for one appreciate that.  I don't think rehashing offenses from yesterday contributes to the discussion going on in this diary very much at all.

i.e. He brought those ones here, not I.

Should just let the attack slide?

Or maybe he should have just copped to the egregious errors without casting any aspersions on anyone else... and we would have been good to go?

(and, once again, to tar the entirety of those who waded through his SNR warping SNAFU's with the brush of those who speculated race (and we're promptly corrected by many of the same correcting him) as well as claiming those who took the short hop from the facts presented to the pictures the girl sent being naked pictures were WRONG, when, rather, that hasn't been established... and his alternate version requires drawing a bow so long it would have altered the outcome of Agincourt... is particularly galling)

Since you asked.  I simply don't think it adds anything at all to the conversation here.  If you feel the need to be right and tell him so, send him an email.

tremendous weight of probability falls to the pictures the girl sent being naked DOES inform the conversation going forward. Sure, we can posit and discuss the scenario where this isn't the outcome, but only fairly with an amount of time and effort in accordance with its probability and how much it will change... which are passingly low and... not that much, actually.
