  •  Amen. He messed with BadgerCare and refused (5+ / 0-)

to then accept the Medicaid expansion which would cover thousands of Wisconsin residents at 100% federal government expense.  Politically charming to wingnuts, but totally stupid when it comes to balancing budgets.

Instead, these thousands of average citizens are making too much for Medicaid and not enough for Affordable Health Care plans.  Sadly, many of them continue to vote Republican.

Affordable Health Care was deliberately designed to begin at middle income levels because Medicare expansion would pick up the lower middle class.  The "brilliant minds" of the wingnut Supreme Court majority tried to destroy the law by allowing governors like Walker to gut the middle third of the combined plan and leave no security for low to middle income people.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin residents (and those in other wingnut states) are paying the same federal taxes for services their governor refuses to accept.

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty (Chris Christie, Antonin Scalia, or Scotty Walker (pick your favorite) said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."

Republican Presidential politics where the bona fides MUST be proven to the teabaggers.

It wasn't just his refusal to have a state exchange or expand Medicaid though.  Walker also reduced the eligibility for BadgerCare (Medicaid) from 130% of the poverty level to 100%. 83,000 Wisconsinites got thrown off, including many in rural areas like farmers.

Yet, many don't see the connection. They still blame ObamaCare for their lack of coverage.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
