    instead of flatford39's thread.  Thanks.

If a small minority of people is now stealthily ruling what was previously a democratic country, and "the people" don't seem to realize it, should anyone bother to tell them?

    •  What about under-funding of the VA? (7+ / 0-)

Seems VA funding has been a serious problem for years because it is manually managed by Congress.  Medicare funding is automatically increased, but the VA is dependent on Congress to maintain adequate funding.

Where's that in your ad, Koch brothers?

Still trying to figure it all out

Voting for Republicans because you hate government is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The guy/gal you want in office will do their best to make government wasteful, inefficient, and underfunded, then will turn around and complain about the waste, inefficiency, and lack of government services.

The right doesn't mind spending government money, as long as it is flowing up to the 1%.  If it's spent on "we the people", including the men and women who have risked their lives to defend this country, then the right likes to squawk, "We can't afford it".

If a small minority of people is now stealthily ruling what was previously a democratic country, and "the people" don't seem to realize it, should anyone bother to tell them?
