    I do think it points to how employers seem to think they have the right to know everything about their employees and micromanage their lives.  They thinking they own people because they sign their paycheck.  

    Do they assume this moreso of women than men?  I think so.  But really, this reeks of out-of-touch management types hitting on a bright idea, and not having any women around to tell them, "no, bad idea."  So is it more women with MBAs we need, or fewer MBAs?  You tell me.

    •  Don't forget the "flow restrictors" (4+ / 0-)

      Years ago, I was complaining about the flow restrictors on the toilet paper holders in the women's rooms.  When I discovered the men didn't know what I was talking about (apparently, the men's rooms didn't have them), I went to all the bathrooms in my building and ripped them all off.

      All hail freedom of the toilet paper!
