    Even with full cable tv here in the backwoods of Maine, I still listen to the Sox on the radio. Seems more 'real' to me. As I used to say to my father "As the twig is bent, so the child is warped."

    The children's show was The Spider's Web. Good stuff, it was ;-) Should have trusted my memory on the program name, but Googled to confirm.

      Even if mr.u has the game on TV I'd rather hear it than watch it. Unfortunately we don't have announcers like Harry Carey anymore, he forgot about the camera and described every ball scratch, spit, and dust sweep. I loved it.
