my point was not to raise the banner of inequality, as an African-American that would be foolish. What I was trying to say in-artfully, was that the idea of Liberal -Nationalism can be pursued but never attained because nature itself presumes and demands stratification, and man who is a part of nature is not capable of full equality. But by all means let keep reaching for that star (equality).

the book called The Human Zoo. It's not mainly about politics, but there's a part where the author writes about humans evolving in conditions that required hierarchy and stratification.  However, a society of millions (instead of bands of 60) creates way way more inequality than we can handle .  So we are stuck with evolutionary programming that is both detrimental and arguably unnecessary (we are not small bands struggling to survive against nature anymore), but we can't seem to shake it.

how unshakable it seems. Not even the late Gene Roddenberry was able to construct a fiction perfect society without the use of hierarchy. In his Star Trek Universe he relied on  military rank.
