  •  All part of their long-term strategy: (18+ / 0-)

Cut school funding to the bone, thereby forcing districts to seek private support. Hey kids, here's your new science textbook donated by Exxon! What's that? There's no chapter on climate change? ... And here's your lunch, provided by the nice people at KFC. The Koch Bros are also using the $$ to influence higher ed too, natch.

    •  Long Term Strategy is Government Has No Role. (6+ / 0-)

The only functions legitimate are security foreign and domestic, but those are much better handled by the private sector.

      Government has no role.

then pull their children from the public sector and teach their children at home on line... or however and to this I say there is a lot to be said for the work at home because we have a few Abe Lincolns out there and nothing worthwhile is ever easy.
Parents and grandparents , aunts, and uncles are going to have to step up to the plate and do the educating.  If we don't then we end up with spoon fed kids not believing in climate change, a real value system and just little robots who think they are only worth what a rich man says.
