    It sounds so reasonable doesn't it?

    Don't have time to analyze the issues?  Don't know if the Democratic candidate is telling the truth?  Or the Republican?  Then give your money to the DCCC (or the DSCC) and let them figure it out.

    I probably don't need to say that my philosophy is a bit different.  First, I like to support progressives.  Second, I like to support opponents of particularly pustulent Republicans (you all know who they are).  Even if they haven't a snowball's chance in hell of winning.  Third, ...well, actually I don't have a third option, because I don't really have all that much money to spread around.

    And you know what else I notice?  These mainstream Democratic Party organizations don't support progressives or lost causes.

    Notice (for example) that Michelle Bachmann almost lost her seat in 2012?  Her opponent was a guy named Jim Graves.   Did the DCCC support him?  Dream on.

    But I did, and I consider that money very well spent.
