    “The grouch”  here is telling the real story here, two chapters.  first chapter,  “It doesn’t matter what voters vote for.”  and second chapter, “It doesn’t matter what politicians campaign for.”  doesn’t matter either way.

    big money can manipulate congress to allow corporations to maximize profits in disregard of environmental issues.  the wealthiest 1% in their million dollar mansions and private jets are insulated from their “scorched earth” policies.  to them, it’s only someting on the six-o-clock news.

    i suspect they realize greenhouse gases are potentially disastrous, and will possibly result in future starving populations.  but like usual, a  crisis is an opportunity to make a lot of money.  and it’s not your fault, the crisis.  if  a lot of people die, it can’t be helped, and it certainly is NOT a reason to stop making a huge profit.
