Certainly helps to be a Republican and being questioned by the SCLM ( that's the So-Called-Liberal Media for the youngsters among us).

They'll want to know why she killed Vince Foster, when Hillary goes to Iowa.

    •  It's just to complicated (5+ / 0-)

for normal folks to understand ...

major bridge traffic and local access traffic,

      grid-locked for hours and hours,

      for about a week,

      for political reasons.

Why bother the public about such nettlesome details?

It's not like they drive anyway,

      in traffic, now is it?

development. Any payback to the Ft. Lee mayor was just a bonus.

Fishman said that nearly all the Vanity Faire piece was wrong, and some was obviously wrong.  If Fishman is interviewing them and/or they are testifying before the Grand Jury, they are not targets of the investigation. That includes everyone we know has been meeting with Fishman (Wildstein) and everyone who has testified before the legislature (not Baroni).

VF said there are two Grand Juries, one solely for the bridge land closures, and one for the financial matters. I think that's true.

We have new news, Regina Egea testifed before the legislature, and so she must have already testified before the Grand Jury, because she had some interesting things to say and she was still covering herself, so she probably wasn't given immunity because she didn't need it, because she isn't a target and because she didn't have any direct responsibility so she can continue to play innocent. I think she must have testified before the Grand Jury so I think there must be two Grand Juries, and that's the only correct information in that Vanity Faire piece.

        Says she deleted the emails:

A close aide to Gov. Chris Christie sent him text messages related to fallout from the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge and later deleted them, she told a legislative committee in Trenton on Thursday.

Regina Egea, then the governor's liaison to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said the messages discussed testimony related to the bridge and complimented an employee on his "professionalism."

Ms. Egea, whom Mr. Christie has named to be his next chief of staff, said she would text the governor infrequently, and he would respond "at times."
