  •  The hardest part for me isn't the running, (7+ / 0-)

    it's putting my shoes on. Laziness and procrastination (and after-work martinis) have a hold on me.  I'm hoping my new life will prompt me to get my ass in gear and get back on the road.  There was something amazingly self-satisfying about running long distances.

    You can't spell CRAZY without R-AZ.

      and running for a cause doesn't hurt, either.  I think I could train for a half on my own, but probably not a full (takes too much discipline).  I highly recommend Team In Training; I turned my BIL on to it, and he's done a couple of century bike rides.
