to give it a rest and to accept the deserved criticism.  Our President does not deserve a "water bottle" comparison to our teabagger, corrupted, opportunist Marco Rubio and especially since he's not known as a water guzzler while speaking.

I'm more worried about our Senate immediately voting to give Israel more money for their own murdering and barbaric actions last week which is "ironically" very comparable to Russia with their own land expansion motives.

Everything can't be blamed on our President when our entire Senate and Congress is sold out to lobbyists and no longer follow any type of moral compass or the will of the American public.

it's this thought you're having that has caused me to respond to so many of the comments here. You shouldn't be so defensive about the president. You may be so on guard for him that you see criticism when it isn't there. You make enemies where you didn't have any.

The water remark was not a criticism of the president. Not in any way. You might read my replies about it to understand.

You are right about him not being likely to take a drink. That did occur to me, and it's a good thing he didn't.

Everything can't be blamed on our President
Hmmmm, interesting remark to throw in on this discussion. I guess you feel everything is blamed on him, even the water.

Just last week they voted to do that already........

The US Senate Appropriations Defense Subcommittee just approved the transfer of $351 million to Israel for the Iron Dome missile defense system — that will bring the appropriations this week for Israel to $621 million.

There has been virtually no debate about such huge payments to another nation’s defense budget when cities and schools continue to cut back on programs for lack of funds.

      -
Congress has cut historic programs and environmental projects for lack of a few million dollars but approves these transfers with little debate.

Every Democratic Senator on the Appropriations Committee just seemed to march along as "Israel" co-conspirators with our tax dollars. How could we ever get Israel to the bargaining table with all of our own elected office holders acting as financial enablers?
