  •  IF he loses? Methinks they mean AFTER he loses. (5+ / 0-)

    Now there's a scary picture!

    •  McConnell TV ads here (3+ / 0-)

in Western Ky are non-stop.  I've never seen so many "New Pacs" backing McTurtle.  The local TV station said most of McConnell's money is coming from out of state, Grimes money is coming mostly from us nickle and dime folks.  What makes me ill is that I have a favorite nephew who is supporting McConnell.  Since I live in Texas I'm counting on our granddaughter to kill my nephew's vote.

      •  Grimes is also out-of-state funded (0+ / 0-)

        According to this WSJ blog,

Ms. Grimes wasn’t far behind, raising roughly 70% of her donations over $200 from benefactors beyond the borders of Kentucky, according to the same data. In fact, by the end of 2013, she had raised three times more money from donors in greater Los Angeles than she had from supporters in either Lexington or Louisville, Ky. And she raised more money from two ZIP Codes in Beverly Hills, Calif., than any other ZIP Codes in the country.
Isn't it nice to know that BOTH of Kentucky's Senate candidates are so well funded?

Shoot, that state has so many political donations that there's a third "candidate" showing up just to snag some of it for himself.

There's so much campaign money flowing into the Kentucky race for US Senate, that a third 'candidate' has appeared.
