    It's heartening that though we cannot undo what happened to Eric Garner, we can get angry about it -- angry enough to force Chief Bratton to conduct (or at least say he'll conduct) a thorough review and shake-up within the NYPD as a result of Garner's death.

    That's the power of public outrage in today's climate of social media.  But it always seems to depend on someone having caught footage.  Makes you wonder how many unarmed American citizens, black men and boys in particular, have died at the hands of violent police officers without any video footage to tell the tale afterward.

      Google Glass with the ability to constantly upload video is so appealing.  In fact, there is even an addon (hardware and software) for it called MindRDR that lets you trigger an upload (currently only to Facebook and Twitter, but hopefully it will be open enough to allow user defined actions) with a mere thought.
