  •  The truth is that children have the small (5+ / 0-)

    hands ideal for many types of intricate assembly work. And they can learn repetitive tasks as well as an adult, and have a lot more energy (especially if they are fed high-sugar snack foods on a regular basis). They get sick a lot, but it's usually one-day things, like colds, and not the truly debilitating stuff that adult workers get. It is definitely inhumane and immoral, but Bachmann is right that children make very industrious workers.

      and finger work; they're almost a completely different species for a few years they learn so fast, and simultaneous multitasking learning too.

      And if they don't burn out with repetitive motion injury, they can keep the skill into old age.

      Wait till 25 you might as well wait till 105.
