    you the EU is also levelling sanctions, as well as Japan, just announced today.  So you can try to spin away Putin's deeds by bashing the US, but the EU and Japan also don't like what Putin is doing.  Deal with it. lol

      It's true that if the US puts enough pressure on its client states it can get them to do just about anything the government wants, and this has nothing to do with how the people of those countries, or even their governments, feel about Russian activities.

      The United States unquestionably has pursued an evil foreign policy consistently since at least the end of World War II.  I can't help it if most Americans -- even those who claim to be progressives -- have been indoctrinated since they were children into the American mythology and are abysmally ignorant of history -- even American history.  I happened to have a degree in history, concentrating on American history so I don't give much credence to the mythology.
