  •  So, full employment by 2016 or 2018... (10+ / 0-)

depending on whose stats you favor.

Either way, my takeaway from this is that a deafeningly loud siren should be blaring in all voters' minds as to the importance of who sits in the Oval Office.

George W. Bush devastated our nation, economically and in countless other ways. We must never let anyone that incompent and in over his head anywhere near the White House ever again.

I'll be honest. I'm not the biggest Hillary Clinton fan in the world. But she's intelligent and competent and will put forth policies (not to mention SC appointments) that will continue to strengthen our nation.

A President Ryan or Rubio or Christie or Paul or Bush the Trois will lead us back to economic destruction.

Those of you who plan on sitting on your hands in 2014 or 2016 because "they're all the same" need to take a look at economic charts and graphs from Bush's terms in office and compare them with Obama's numbers and then tell me "they're all the same."

Remember when we were bleeding 700,000 jobs a month and reaching double-digit unemployment? Let's not do that again.

How about I believe in the unlucky ones?

      Me neither.

Pretty much, but look at the State Department's responsibilities around the world after she ran it for Obama's first term: neverending crisis after crisis, none resolved, no clear leadership for a viable path out - not even a clean US hand. And what Snowden told us about the sausages' insides was only the tip of the iceberg.

and will put forth policies (not to mention SC appointments) that will continue to strengthen our nation.

How do you know? Again, State performed badly under her. Even if you claim she was up against big emergent problems, they all had clear precedents. And all seemed to take State by surprise, and without useful contingency plans.

I am very keen to see her actual competition in the primaries. Until I see that she's the most competent and likely to lead out of all the problems accumulated since she last worked in the White House, I'm not at all convinced she's the best option.
