    This system is human made.  It did not come down from the sky and it is not immortal.  That said, it is hard as hell to make deep change.

      After all, our system is founded on ceding them ownership of the public square and 2 freedoms of assertion that extend to rights to lying about our most important matters.

      For the other 1/3 billion of us, given that we don't have rights to access in the public square, nor any kind of right to know in general, influencing the system is a little trickier.
