I am pointing out that the uprate / hide rate system has a tendency to devolve into a one side against another.  This is especially true when there are polarized rival groups.  The system is further abused by using this system to get people bojo'd, timeouts, or NR status.  In other words, used as a weapon.  It also takes the lesser form of uprating in solidarity of the group / clique as evidenced by the same players are routinely HR'ing the same people repeatedly.
