  •  This is an excellent example of the liberal desire (0+ / 0-)

to lose elections.  Obama wants to be able to govern the US. He has done a lot of good things, and one of them is he has stopped using torture.  But no, liberals will "never forgive" Obama for not committing political suicide for himself and party by prosecuting his political enemies.

    •  I don't think it would be Political Suicide (0+ / 0-)

if the President of the United States of America were to do his Job.  In fact I think just the opposite would happen for President Obama.  I think he would see his approval rating hit an all time high.  And I think if he did do as he should do NOW.  I think it would strengthen the Democratic Party and bring back some American's that gave up on that political party.  There is a huge percentage of what use to be middle class Americans that would love to see Bush and his cronies brought to justice.  After all it is due to their actions that these very hard working average American's are no longer considered Middle Class American's.  It is the Bush administrations fault that there is no longer a Middle Class America.  And these American's know this.  And They are NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!  And if President Obama were to show these American's that NO ONE, INCLUDING EX-PRESIDENT G. BUSH JR. or his Comrade Greedy, MR CHENEY and the rest of his advisors and administrators, and those that followed his illegal orders are above the Law of this country.  I think there would be a great amount of support from the Average American for the president.  SO I really think he should do this.  And not just because it is his job but because it is the RIGHT THING TO DO.  AND WE AS A COUNTRY MUST LEAD BY EXAMPLE, if we want our citizens to be treated with dignity if they happen to be detained in a country that is looking at declaring war on the USA.
