    That's what makes lit classes fun.  I would dispute your characterization of Zelda's problems, but I don't think you can judge an author's work on his personal life.  I love Milton too, but the man was a hopeless jackass personally.  I see no problem with Fitzgerald's "treatment of women," either, and I've been a feminist my entire life.  

    I don't see women as part of a separate species, and Fitzgerald had a damned good handle on humanity.
