    The U.S. had been a very heavy meddler, about what government could be formed, in the very protracted failure to form a government, after the election in 2010. We did, essentially, pick Maliki's ass. Mostly by having strong objections to various other combinations of asses that might have been picked.

    2010 was not Bush and Cheney. And it was an important event in the rising civil war.

    And John Kerry is in Kabul, at the moment. Negotiating with...

    Well, one of the guys he is negotiating with, accuses him of picking the other guy as winner. If the tape is real, we are picking asses in Afghanistan. And if the tape is fake, he's pretty damn tolerant of the guy making the claims.

    And either way, it's an important event in the rising civil war.

      Why didn't President Obama sign the Status of Forces Agreement...to protect Maliki...the guy you have witness him, to have picked?

      And well if some pol in Afghanistan says something it must be the gospel (oops, wrong book.).
