    ...there are two different sides to the story. In which case a pause before action is necessary. Here, both sides tell the same story. ISIS and everyone else have basically the same story to tell about what ISIS has done and will do. It's just that ISIS thinks killing and subjugating people is the right thing to do and the rest of the world disagrees.

    There is no other venue I think US military action should be taken in, in the modern world. This is it. ISIS and the rest of the world are on the same page as far as the evidence of their horrific nature. There isn't an issue of what is true and what isn't, they brag about the worst of it!

    The UN has requested action. We should act. Now.

      people were talking about bombing Syria, because they were committing atrocities. Now, we are supposed to be bombing their enemies for the same reason.

      Don't get me wrong, I believe the religious minorities in Iraq are fucked. I am just not sure a bombing campaign is going to help them.

      I suppose limited actions to support their escape to Kurdish territory.

      I just don't think we need to start another war, even if it is just air assets involved. We can't bomb ISIS/ISIL away.
