    Isn't that the usual variation for polling and most other data anyway? 3% points? So essentially he's arguing semantics. I mean in school that could be the difference between an A- and a B+ but in the overall scheme of things that's not a huge difference even there. It's not like it's a difference between pass or fail, the guy is just being nitpicky.

      So much of the conservative opposition is academic in nature - they argue over percentage points and quibble over semantics instead of looking at the real-world "big picture."

      This seems to be true in many areas of our political discourse; they think they're arguing in a classroom or laboratory instead of working with (or for) real people.

      The word "parent" is supposed to be a VERB, people...
