    a probable homicide when it comes to a fed investigation. The reason so many cases are either overturned on appeal or verdicts are suspect is because local LE jump to conclusions and public sentiment makes them resolve too quickly so they can get the press off their back.

      Something needs to be done before civil unrest becomes normalized. Ignoring the problem is not working.

        The Feds don't make arrests unless they have evidence that can lead to a conviction, and they are certainly not going to make statements to the press about what they think until they have conducted their investigation. What do you want them to do, re-write the Constitution or make statements about guilt before they've interviewed 1 person. The riot was its own dynamic based on more than just a protest, snarling dogs and storm trooper looking cops in riot gear were not Feds, that was local LE being paranoid and thinking they were making a statement.
