  •  Again, here is what he did say: (none)
"Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided."

Heres one for the fundies:  Jesus said, "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.  The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.  But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned" (Matthew 12:34-37).

Most people are idiots... But don't tell them. It'll spoil all the fun for those of us who aren't.

    •  Well he was a mouthpeice then for his clients (none)
I would focus more on his limited record on the bench. His recent ruling giving Bush emperor-like powers when it comes to anything related to the war-on-terror is troubling to me. Of course that ruling did throw down the gauntlet to Congress. It said that since Congress gave Bush unlimited power in its war on terror legislation then they have to live with the consequences.

From that ruling I would have to believe that if Bush suspended elections and declared himself President-for-life, Roberts would say that yes, that too was legal.
