That's what I get. I kicked the ball, started running and then snap on the second step after a weird twist. And dear god yes is it painful. When I finally got to the hospital and they were asking me to rate the pain I was in I didn't really do a great job since I was considering a ten to be when the EMT accidentally nudged my leg a tiny bit and it was the worst pain of all time ever. So when it was  just horrible pain I kept telling them it was around a 6 when for normal people it should have been an 8 at least. That was a learning experience, lie when they ask you for a pain number.

On the plus side, I've healed quickly and now I'm a cyborg with a titanium rod in my leg. Cyborgs unite here!

When you're old and having trouble getting around, you can always grab at your leg and say, "Danged old kickball injury!"

That really sucks, though. Here's hoping you never experience anything that painful again.

Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it.

another Ti rod in the other leg the next time I'm in there. Nip that problem in the bud. I priced it out and I could do most of my bones for around $200k total, so I just don't have to worry about it any more.

If only my heath care would cover that. THANKS OBAMA!
