I was sitting with friends last evening, watching the media sideshow surrounding Robin's death, feeling morose.

Then our host jumped up, hustled over to his video collection, and returned with 'Live at the Met' from 1986.

He dropped it in the player, and 90 seconds after Robin hit stage, were laughing our fool heads off.  By the end of the show we were all laughing hard enough that the tears in our eyes were happy ones.

We lost George Carlin awhile back.  I was sad, still am in fact.

Losing Robin Williams is as bad or worse.

    Namaste, Robin.

Note: for those who do not know, Namaste is a Hindu greeting, and like Aloha, can mean either well met or fair well.  It translates as 'The divine in me recognizes and acknowledges the divine in you.
