    is the deal that has been on the table for ages. Everybody knows that they can have that deal as soon as both sides give up the hard-line demands for the impossible, and deal on Jerusalem and the Right of Return. Everybody knows the options available. But nobody feels they can go first.

    The only obstacles are Israel insisting that it does not have a partner for negotiations, and Hamas threatening both sides if they deal. BDS can take care of both, in much the same manner as sanctions and genuine negotiations gradually stopped violence from the IRA, the Orange Order, and the British government in Northern Ireland, and from the ANC, the South African Government, and the racist Weerstandsbeweging in South Africa.

    You could have said the same thing about Afrikaner intransigence, and many did, including the Afrikaners. But they did change 180°. The Dutch Reformed Church even apologized for its previous racism, as the Southern Baptist Convention has done in the US. Both recruit Black and other minority members today.
