....is that it is still on the Cheney/Dobson playing ground. This nominination is well-respected, he's not a wing-nut, he deserves a dignified and fair hearing... bullshit! The time for fair play, for picking our battles, for holding our ammunition, is long, long, long past. We've had two stolen elections, we've had a murderous illegal war, we've had a Supreme Court commit treason to install bush.  If the Plame matter hasn't exposed these people for the criminals that they are, both in the Senate and the Executive Branch, what do you need to be shown?

Fillibuster, have the repubs take down the government with the illegal Nuclear option... otherwise the slow but steady decline into a state run by corporations and christian extremeists is all but assured.

What more important fight can there be but for a Supreme Court nomination? Bush has no mandate to nominate a hard-right judge. I'm not expecting a liberal, but how about a judge with a long record of moderate and well-thought-out rulings?
